The Annual Dr. Marty Staker/Bloom Vernon P.T.O. Run and Walk will be held on Thursday, May 17th, at 6:00 p.m. for runners and walkers.
This event is a 5K, 3.1 mile race and will be open to both interested runners and walkers. The race will be divided into the following age divisions: Men and Women 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and over 70.
Each participant is guaranteed a t-shirt if pre-registered. Pre-registration cost is $12.00 per person with race day registration $15.00. Medallions will be awarded to the first and second place winners per age division. Over all male and female winners will receive a medallion. Awards will be given to the top finishers in the following divisions: Bloom-Vernon faculty/staff, Bloom-Vernon Elementary students and South Webster Jr/Sr. High students.
